Garn Fôr
Garn Fôr
The most seaward of the three peaks of Yr Eifl, which rises sharply behind the village of Trefor in North Wales and looks out across the Irish Sea. Garn Fôr is also known as Mynydd y Gwaith, which translates as mountain of work, and was once heavily quarried for granite - some of which was used to pave the streets of London and, more recently, for making curling stones for the Winter Olympics of 2006.
